Oomen Agro can deliver the right quality red or yellow onions at any time of the year. The first Dutch onion sets are being delivered starting around mid-July, while the earliest Dutch seed onions are available from the middle of August. By having state-of-the-art traceable storage facilities capable of keeping 7,000 tons of onions, Oomen Agro can deliver onions through June of the following year. Delivering yellow onions from New Zealand during the months of March to June bridges the gap from the previous Dutch crop. This is made possible by our collaboration with Riverside Agricultural Services, an onion grower and exporter.

New Zealand yellow onions are mostly intended for Pre-Pack production. Delivery for other uses for these onions can be arranged as well. Dutch red and yellow onions are available for delivery to the following categories:

• Pre-Pack

• Class 2

• Industrial

Both Dutch and New Zealand onions can be made available in different sizes. We can conveniently arrange to meet your size requirements. Standard sizes are as follows:

• 35-50 mm
• 40-60 mm

• 50-60 mm

• 50-70 mm

• 60-80 mm
• 70-90 mm

• 75-105 mm

Our primary aim is to red and yellow onions to pre-packing companies. For this purpose we use our own Oomen Agro jumbo bags which can be used in an exchange system. In addition we can also supply onions in packaging from 5 kg to 25 kg in plain and labelled sacks.
