Oomen Agro means quality, and the company has been HACCP certified since 2003. Quality and traceability are the focal points of our approach to our business; always making sure our customers get what they want. We are always looking for ways to improve our communication with all parties involved in the production cycle, which ranges from growing the onions to their delivery. All onions we process at Oomen Agro have been grown under GlobalGap conditions. We can identify and trace where our onions came from by simply pressing a button.

At Oomen Agro, we understand how important information about the source and growing conditions of our product is, not only for the processing companies farther down the production line, but also for the final consumer. Not merely satisfied with having the latest in tracing systems, we at Oomen Agro are always working on improving our responsible production methods.

Since 2006 Oomen Agro has been certified by the government’s Quality Control Agency (KCB) to perform internal quality control (Reglement Interne Kwaliteitscontrole-RIK). This certification allows Oomen Agro to perform its own inspections and to prepare shipping documents for exportation around the world.
